Amy L. Ziolkowski

Ms. Ziolkowski received her J.D. degree with highest honors from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law in May 2004. She received her B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Illinois in 1999.



Admitted: Illinois; U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois.

Honors & Awards: CALI Award for Excellence in Negotiations, Conflicts of Law and Practice Before the Federal Circuit; Order of the Coif; Deans List; Highest Brief Score in Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court Regional Competition.

Law School Activities: Intellectual Property Moot Court, Teaching Assistant: Property Law and Criminal Law.

Legal Experience: Experience encompasses patent, copyright and trademark areas including prosecution and assisting in litigation. As an extern, Ms. Ziolkowski researched patent law and technology relating to telecom patent infringement suit.

Technical Experience: Ms. Ziolkowski worked in industry for three years prior to attending law school. She has experience working in many different industries, including pharmaceutical research, manufacturing and environmental controls. At Chicago Specialties, LLC, her accomplishments include managing a 2,000,000 gallon biological wastewater treatment facility and implementing new cost reduction technology to reduce the amount of raw materials used.
